Welcome to the wonderful sport of Synchronised Swimming!

We’re passionate about our sport – and although it’s a small sport in WA, are extremely proud of our achievements and the many athletes who are working hard representing us and their clubs at local, national and international competitions.

If you’re interested to try our sport, we welcome you to join one of our next ‘Come and Try’ sessions, generously supported by our major sponsor, SunSmart.

If you already know you love it – and are keen to start learning more, follow the links below and join a class.

We look forward to seeing you at the pool!

If you love synchro and would like to start learning and advancing your synchro skills, you’ll need to join one of our classes…

SynchroWA and our two Perth based synchronised swimming clubs all offer classes for beginners – so choose the provider most convenient for you.

Beginners usually start by joining a fun, ‘Recreational’ class.  Recreational athletes are encouraged to attend state competitions throughout the season, to display their synchro skills show off their hard work!

When athletes are ready for bigger challenges, we hope they will join one of the competitive classes provided by our clubs.

Here they will join a team and learn more complex choreography and skills.  The coach of your recreation class will give you advice on how and when you can progress your synchro skills.

Athletes can swim within ‘State Stream’ where they can compete within WA, and can progress to swim within our ‘National Stream’ where they travel with their team to compete at interstate competitions.

Synchronised Swimming provides WA athletes unparalleled opportunities to compete at an international level and  WA has an outstanding history of athletes swimming for Australia.
