SynchroWA has been successful in receiving a $30,000 Sport Development Fund grant from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. The grant will provide support to deliver programs to more centres throughout Western Australia.

According to Synchro WA’s Chairperson Nicola Eidne, “The sport development grant provided by the DLGSC will help our organisation to continue building our participation programs and programs in the regional community. This is a very exciting time for us as this provides the support for SynchroWA to ensure that we can continue to build a sustainable and viable sport throughout WA.

Being a new and small sport, the grants provided from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries has been invaluable to the growth of our participation program in various centres throughout the Perth metropolitan area and Regional WA. We are thrilled to be allowing the opportunity for more young people to be able to be involved in the sport of artistic swimming.
