Liz Dawson recently joined the ASWA team as Sports Administration Manager.  Liz is our new go-to person, for all our office administration, coordination of subcommittees, overseeing the calendar of events, liaising with colleagues, and providing administrative assistance to the Board.

Liz has experience with recruitment and training of staff, mental health/well-being of staff, office systems development and management, project planning and digital record management.  Liz has worked in several teams’ setups, and enjoys building strong relationships with managers, colleagues, and peers alike.  She also served as a volunteer at Bethesda Hospital, supporting patients through the admission process and offering emotional support before surgery.

Liz is committed to provide measurable value to ASWA through her well-developed organisational skills and ability to work with multiple priorities as well as her attention to detail.  She shares in the mission of ASWA to make Artistic Swimming fun and accessible and to help grow the awareness of the sport to a wide audience.

Liz holds a BA degree in Organisational Psychology and Communications, from the University of South Africa.  She enjoys spending time with her two teenagers, usually “all things water sports”, on the river, or the ocean.
