November 2020
One of SynchroWA’s strategic plan pillars is to make artistic swimming affordable for WA families. In line with this vision, the SynchroWA Board has provided a rebate for all team entry fees at all its competitions for the 2020/2021 season.
According to Nikki Eidne, Chairperson of Synchro WA, “As a State sporting body we continue to work towards decreasing costs for our athletes and their families. It has been a difficult year for many Australians due to the impacts of COVID -19. The SynchroWA Board has taken this proactive step to help improve affordability thereby supporting our members to be able to continue participating and competing in our wonderful sport.”
“Artistic Swimming is primarily a team sport, so the rebate focuses on supporting the team-based events,” Ms Eidne said.
The team competition entry rebate has been applied to club invoices for the upcoming competition in November.
This rebate is made possible by the Sector Support Funding received by Lotterywest and the Department of Local Government Culture and Sporting Industries.
