Dive into Aquatic Fun with AquaStART Beginners & Intermediate
Are you ready to explore the exciting world of aquatic sports? AquaStART Beginners is the perfect introduction to artistic swimming and essential water safety skills.
Developed in partnership with Royal Life Saving WA, this dynamic and inclusive program offers 10 one-hour sessions led by certified instructors. Each session focuses on fun, personal achievement, and developing strong aquatic foundations in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re building confidence in the water or developing physical and athletic skills, AquaStART is designed to help you grow — all while having a great time. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident in the water and ready to take the next step in your aquatic journey.
AquaStART Intermediate is the level up from Beginners, designed for children who are ready to expand their skills and challenge themselves further. This program builds on the foundations of Beginners with 10 extended 1.5-hour sessions, giving participants more time to refine techniques, strengthen their endurance, and explore the creative elements of artistic swimming.
Classes are open to children aged 6 and above who have completed Stage 3+ swimming level (Please note that, if the child does not meet the Level 3 swimming requirements for completion of this level, the coach may recommend that the child re-enroll once they have met the required swimming standard for the AquaStART program. This is at the discretion of the coach and ASWA’s representative.)
The child must be able to:
-
Swim 5 meters freestyle.
-
Glide backward and kick 5 meters.
-

-
