Olympian Rose Stackpole welcomed as new Synchro WA Board Member

Perth18th March 2021SynchroWA welcomes Olympian Rose Stackpole as an elected director onto the SynchroWA Board. Her years of experience as both an elite swimmer and coach allow Rose to bring with her a wealth of knowledge regarding the sport of artistic swimming. She will offer a fresh new perspective which will be of immense value to the Board as we continue to work towards our vision; To make Artistic Swimming the sport of choice in WA.

“I am excited to have been elected to the Synchro WA board and be a part of creating a bright future for our West Australian athletes. Having been an elite athlete myself for many years, I believe I can bring a unique perspective to the board.  I also have experience coaching at different levels within WA and more recently for the Australian Junior National Team. I am very much looking forward to working alongside the other dedicated members of the Synchro WA board,” says Rose.

Rose Stackpole replaces outgoing board member Mark Calleja who has been nominated onto the Artistic Swimming Australia Board. SynchroWA thanks Mark for his contribution to the SynchroWA Board, particularly with regards to SynchroWA’s governance and all the IT advice and help. Mark will remain involved with SynchroWA as the IT support officer.
